Aila loved books ever since she learned to read. From the tasty picnics in Enid Blyton’s children’s books to sultry glances in Shari L. Tapscott’s fantasy adventures, Aila has enjoyed the wonderful worlds created by talented authors through the generations. Aila would say choosing a favourite amongst the books she has loved in her lifetime is like trying to choose a favourite star on a clear night – nearly impossible, but an enjoyable activity nevertheless.

Her impetus for writing fiction is to create stories that would enthral readers as other writers have enthralled her with the gift of their imagination. When she’s not busy pretending to be an adult in the real world, Aila’s favourite activity is… um, reading fiction.
